Our Mission
The Cedars Ascetical Center seeks to be a conduit for the teachings of the Desert Fathers and Mothers, a solace for those seeking spiritual direction, and encouragement for those seeking discipleship to our Lord Jesus Christ through Liturgical Prayer in the Eastern Catholic Traditions and Spiritual Retreats. Under the Patronage of Our Lady of Lebanon, we promote the Prayer of the Heart, a return to more rigorous fasting and incorporating the Liturgical Cycle of the Church in our everyday life.
There are many ways to support the efforts of The Cedars Ascetical Center as we begin Phase One - the Pioneer Phase - of our project. Land has been donated to our Center located in Semmes, Alabama, and now we need to raise the funds for the building projects on our campus. From making purchases from our Religious Gifts shop to Sponsoring a Building or simply giving a free will donation, you can learn more about all the ways to support us here:

Upcoming Events
Our Center will host various Liturgical Events, Spiritual Retreats, Workshops, Classes and Missions throughout the year. Our activities will revolve around the Liturgical Calendar of the Church, but right now our efforts are focused on our Fundraising Initiatives to ensure our ability to build our Ascetical Center.
